1. Training objectives
Training technical personnel directly in production and service with college level to equip vocational learners with professional knowledge and capacity to practice the work of metal cutting in the field of industry, able to work independently and organize team work; being able to create and apply techniques and technologies to work; solve complex situations in practice; have a moral sense of professional conscience, sense of discipline, industrial style, health, create conditions for apprentices after graduation to be able to find jobs, create jobs or continue studying to a higher level. meeting the requirements of the country’s industrialization and modernization.
1.2. Detail goal
* Knowledge and professional skills
+ Presenting and analyzing the relevant signs, symbols, representations, regulations on detailed drawings and assembly drawings, the differences of the first and third angle projection methods (E and A) ;
+ Presenting the uses and principles of automatic control systems by electricity, electronics, … in machine tools;
+ Presenting the use, scope of using drawing software – 2D and basic design when processing molds;
+ Presenting the physical and mechanical properties of common materials used in mechanical engineering, mold making materials and mechanical-thermal treatment methods to increase the durability of molds;
+ Explain the symbols of assembly tolerances written on drawings and calculate: deviations, tolerances, sizes of details; loopholes, residues, joint tolerances according to TCVN and ISO standards;
+ Present and explain the physical phenomena arising in the process of processing: cutting, electric sparks, forging, metal casting, plastic injection, rubber molding;
+ Presenting utility, structure, working principles, methods of measuring, reading, adjusting, preserving common tools and measuring devices of the profession;
+ Presenting the utility, structure, principles, working conditions, technical requirements of the mold and details, parts of the mold;
+ Analysis of machining accuracy and method of achieving machining accuracy;
+ Presentation required, principles, standard selection order; establishing technological processes, selecting jigs and tools when machining and assembling molds;
+ Presenting utility, structure, working principle, technical requirements, technological capability of various metal cutting machines, numerical control machine tools and equipment, tools, jigs, use of professions.
– Skill:
+ Read detailed drawings, products, mold assembly drawings according to the first and 3rd angle projection methods (E and A);
+ Using some 2D drawing and design software, for simple product design or mold;
+ Using and preserving common tools and measuring equipment (coordinate measuring machines, scanners) of the profession;
+ Read and establish the process of manufacturing mold technology; assess the technology plan;
+ Setting up a simple mold machining program with basic code, on numerical control machine tools;
+ Operate the Milling, Turning, Drilling, Universal grinding and numerical control machine tools (CNC Lathes, CNC Milling, wire cutting machines, electric spark cutting machines …), hand-held machines, normative, safety assurance;
+ Processing parts details according to technical requirements (achieving the accuracy from level 5 to level 8, roughness from Rz20 μm to Ra 0.16 μm) and the specified time;
+ Implement cold work of manufacturing and assembling all kinds of molds with the right techniques;
+ Read and understand some basic specialized documents in English;
+ Using some office software: Word, Excel …
