1. Training objectives

1.1. General objectives:

Vocational training program Computer network management provides students with basic knowledge and advanced knowledge in the field of computer network management in accordance with the development of science and technology, students form and developing personality, morality, knowledge as well as basic skills to achieve success in work, meeting the needs of society.

1.2. Detail goal:

1.2.1 Knowledge:

Acquire basic knowledge of social sciences and natural sciences;
Understand the structure of computers and computer networks;
Understand the method to plan, design, install and configure computer network systems;
Understand how to operate, manage, maintain, repair and upgrade computer network systems;
Evaluate the safety of the network system and measures to protect the network system.

Proficient use of office computing applications (equivalent to international IT standards IC3, ICDL and MOS);
Ability to listen, speak, read and write English (equivalent to level 2 of 6 foreign language competency framework of Vietnam);
Assembling, installing, maintaining proficient computer systems;
Proficient design, operation and maintenance of intranet systems;
Exploiting applications on the network;
Design, build and deploy network for small and medium enterprises;
Installing, configuring and managing network systems using Windows Server;
Installing, configuring and administering services: DNS, DHCP, RRAS, Web, Mail;
Designed by promotional websites; Proficient administration of existing websites;
Configuring common network devices: Switch, Router;
Building and deploying a firewall system to protect the network system;
Maintain, repair and upgrade network software and hardware;
